Wayne Neal Lehmann of New Braunfels passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the age 58. He was born in New Braunfels, Texas on November 22, 1958 to Roman Lehmann and Lillian (Seidel) Lehmann. In 1977 Wayne graduated from Canyon High School. After graduating high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force. In 2008 he married his wife Debra G. (Voss) Lehmann and moved to Marion, Texas. Wayne enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Wayne Neal Lehmann of New Braunfels passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the age 58. He was born in New Braunfels, Texas on November 22, 1958 to Roman Lehmann and Lillian (Seidel) Lehmann. In 1977 Wayne graduated from Canyon High School. After graduating high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force. In 2008 he married his wife Debra G. (Voss) Lehmann and moved to Marion, Texas. Wayne enjoyed spending time with family and friends. In his free time he enjoyed cooking, riding horses and the parades with the Guadalupe County Sheriff Mounted Posse Drill Team.
Wayne was a true cowboy at heart. He was a member of the 4-H Club, Mission Valley Jr. Bowling league, the FFA, and Comal County Young Farmers. Wayne was also a Director in the Comal County Fair Association. He was also the President, Treasurer, and on the Board of Directors of the Guadalupe County Sheriff Mounted Posse. He absolutely loved to bowl. He was a part of the Freiheit Bowling Club, Pot Bowling, Trophy Bowling, Tri County Trophy Bowling, and 10 Pin Bowling. Wayne also worked on the horse committee for the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo and was on the grounds crew for the Guadalupe County Fair Association. Wayne loved to dance, whether it was a polka, a waltz, or a two-step he would be out there on the dance floor.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Lehmann; daughter, Marisa (Lehmann) Frausto (husband, Jesse); parents, Roman and Lillian Lehmann; and step-sons, David Mercer Jr. and Dustin Mercer (Jenn Schlip); grandchildren, David Kendal IV, Jayden Frausto, Alex Frausto; Rylee Mercer, Haegen Mercer, Madison Ferguson, and Mason Ferguson; sister, Karen Dodson (husband Sammy); sister-in-law, Tina Ynfante (husband, Victor); brother-in-law, Kevin Voss (Dollie Dojahn); mother-in-law, Diane Strickland, and nephews, Curt John Saur (wife Jessica); Korey Saur and Clay Saur.
