In Loving Memory

Our most precious mother, LaVonne Carol Gesell, has gone home. LaVonne was born May 18, 1932 in Parshall, North Dakota and embraced OUR LORD peacefully in New Braunfels, Texas, Tuesday evening, March 31, 2015 at the age of 82.

She was the first born child to loving parents, Clarence and Loraine Glasner who precede her in death. She is also preceded in death by her most precious granddaughter, Hilary Layne Schero. She is survived by her companion, Robert Austin; her four children, oldest son Gregory and wife Carin Gesell, daughter Greta and husband Andrew Poznecki, daughter Gen and husband Randy Fisher and her youngest son Gordon and wife Carolyn Gesell; siblings Duane Glasner, Gloria Owens, Vicki Donahue and their spouses Roberta Glasner, Terry Owens and Tom Donahue; grandchildren Tommy Gesell, Gerry Gesell, Wendy (Bronson) Fuller, Whitney (Erick) Wiggs, Taylor Gesell, Morgan Poznecki and Connor Gesell; great-grandchildren Steven Bump, Dalton Perry, Mckenzie Layne Schero and James Wiggs; many cousins, nieces and nephews; extensive family and friends.

LaVonne was the most amazing mother. She devoted her life to raising her four children. She set the greatest example in how she lived her life by going to church every Sunday, putting our Lord first, meeting every family need and always being upbeat, caring and loving. Our mother's directions for each of us came with few words packed with a wealth of knowledge. We will always remember her love and strength even to her last breath on this earth. She developed strong relationships starting at the age of four with best friend Cora Belle Montalban. LaVonne loved visiting with all of her family and friends. She loved quilting and get-togethers.

LaVonne will be lovingly missed and happily remembered as the best mom, a loving companion, a wonderful sister and an endeared friend. She will always be remembered for the love for her family and for her companion, Bob Austin, of 35 years.
We would like to thank Bob Austin and the doctors of Resolute Health Hospital for the excellent care. We are eternally grateful.

Visitation will be Monday, April 6, 2015 from noon until 1 pm at Zoeller Funeral Home with a funeral service to immediately follow the visitation. Burial will be at Saint Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Bulverde, Texas after the service at Zoeller Funeral Home.

God bless you for all the love and prayers.
