Katherine Ottillie Hansmann Koehler
Katherine was born in Seguin, Texas on May 19, 1936 to Albert Hansmann and Lydia Ruedrich Hansmann. She married Wilburn M. Koehler on June 2, 1957. Katherine is survived by her loving husband, Wilburn; 4 children, Scott Koehler and wife Stephanie, Sandi Koehler, Sarah Koehler and husband Tony, Savannah Maurer and husband Robert; 7 grandchildren, Lil Scott Koehler and wife Lori, Steven Koehler and wife Joei, Ryan Koehler and wife Lindsay, Ben Koehler, Kyle Maurer, Lindsey Maurer, Larissa Maurer; 4 great-grandchildren, Margaret, Aubrey, Bryna, and Colbie Koehler; sisters, Priscilla Koehler, Dolores...

Katherine is survived by her loving husband, Wilburn; 4 children, Scott Koehler and wife Stephanie, Sandi Koehler, Sarah Koehler and husband Tony, Savannah Maurer and husband Robert; 7 grandchildren, Lil Scott Koehler and wife Lori, Steven Koehler and wife Joei, Ryan Koehler and wife Lindsay, Ben Koehler, Kyle Maurer, Lindsey Maurer, Larissa Maurer; 4 great-grandchildren, Margaret, Aubrey, Bryna, and Colbie Koehler; sisters, Priscilla Koehler, Dolores Busch, and brother, Harold Hansmann. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Hansmann and Lydia Ruedrich Hansmann; grandchildren, Shawna Koehler, Sonja Koehler and Gregory Scheffel; sisters, Irene Moehrig, Bertha Busch, and brother, Freddie Hansmann.
Katherine was a longtime 9 pin bowler at Solms Bowling Club. She enjoyed dancing and listening to music. She dearly loved her friends, family and loved being "Granny/Nana" to her precious grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 5-8 pm at Zoeller Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Zoeller Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Charles DeHaven. The interment will immediately follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetic Association or to the Community Christian Church of New Braunfels.
